Thomas Larson is a licensed Physical Therapist who has been practicing physical therapy since 2000. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and from the University of St. Augustine with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. He has been personally chosen by the team physicians to treat professionals from the NFL, MLB, and PGA, as well as college and high school athletes.
Toms philosophy is simple: referring back to fundamentals is essential. He believes that a person should not hire a carpenter to build a house that studied it in a book and was able to pass a test, but one that knows how to swing a hammer! The same applies for him with regards to a physical therapist. He knows from the laws of averages and the Bell curve that there are many good therapists, but few “swing the hammer” and are exceptional therapists. The old cliché “Do as I say, not as I do” does not apply to Tom. He strongly affirms that if one truly believes in the treatment they would give to others then they would apply it to themselves. His motto: “Physical therapy, swing the hammer and live it!”
